Russell Oil announces the hiring of Lisa Jackson as Office Manager in the Plainfield, IL office. Ms. Jackson replaces Jenny Forkal who has previously served in that capacity.

 


July 30, 2008

Southwind Drilling Rig #3 moved in and commenced drilling on the Keil A #1-32. The Keil A is the first test well on the Milberger South 3-D Prospect.

 


July 21, 2008

Russell Oil announces the hiring of Todd A. Brown for the position of Production Foreman. He previously was employed as Director of Acid Services for Allied Cementing, Co., LLC and has over 20 years experience in various capacities in the Kansas oilfields.

 


July 2, 2008

H2 Drilling, Inc. Rig #2 moved in and spud the McDaniel M #1-28, which was completed as a dry hole.

 


July 2, 2008

H 2 Drilling Rig #2 is scheduled to drill the McDaniel PP #1-35 wildcat well in southern Logan County, Kansas following the drilling of the McDaniel M #1-28.

Southwind Drilling, Inc. is scheduled to spud the Keil A #1-32 in southern Russell County, Kansas the last week of July.

Completion work commenced on the FL Unit #1 today.

 


July 1, 2008

The Ferguson #17-19 OWWO (Ferguson B SWD) finalized completion today. The new saltwater disposal well, pending final approval notification from the KCC, is ready to commence disposal operations.

 


June 30, 2008

The Panning #1-31 well was started up and placed into production today.

 


June 26, 2008

H 2 Drilling, LLC Rig #2 spud the McDaniel #1-28 well in southern Logan County, Kansas.

 


June 16, 2008

Lockhart Geophysical completed data acquisition on the Wakeeney North prospect located in Graham/Trego Counties, Kansas.

 


June 11, 2008

Lockhart Geophysical commenced data acquisition on the Angelus II Prospect area in Sheridan/Thomas County, Kansas. This area is an extension of our original Angelus 3-D Prospect.

 


June 9, 2008

Completion on the Panning #1-31 in Barton County, Kansas commenced today.

 


June 2, 2008

Pipe was set today and completion as a saltwater disposal well is pending on the Ferguson #17-19 OWWO. The washdown commenced 6/2/2008 with H 2 Drilling, LLC Rig #2.

 


May 29, 2008

Pipe was set today and completion as an oilwell is pending on the Panning #1-31. Drilling commenced 5/21/2008 with Southwind Drilling, Inc. Rig #2 on the hole.

Pipe was set and completion as an oil well is pending on the FL Unit #1. Drilling commenced 5/17/2008 with H 2 Drilling, LLC Rig #2 over the hole.

The Baker A #1 SWD completion is scheduled for March 17, 2008. The Quint E #1-17 is scheduled for workover to open two additional zones thereafter.

Investor and friend Darwin Ashbaugh passed away last night after a battle with cancer. Arrangements are pending.

The Schaffer #1-31 well has been completed as a producing well. Equipment is being set and initial production is scheduled on March 11.

The Butte 3-D Prospect seismic field data collection is complete. The data has been
submitted for processing.

 


February 5, 2008

The Schaffer #1-31 (Sec. 31-T20S-R11W) is scheduled to commence drilling February 2, 2008. Southwind Drilling, Inc. Rig #1 will drill the hole.

 


February 1, 2008

Design approval for the Baker A SWD has been approved by the Kansas Corporation Commission. Based on rig availability the saltwater disposal completion is scheduled for mid-February.

 


January 30, 2008

The Milberger South 3-D seismic has been shot and processed. Preliminary review by geophysicist Kirk Rundle is ongoing and early interpretations are yielding positive results.

 


January 23, 2008

Butte 3-D Prospect seismic permitting is completed and surveying ready to commence. Lockhart projects a revised February 1, 2008 shooting commencement date.

 


January 15, 2008

The Radio Tower 3-D Prospect is currently waiting on Lockhart Geophysical crews to commence data acquisition. Leasing and permitting has been complete for some time. Lockhart scheduling is the source of delay.
